FTSE/ATHEX Index Series Semi-Annual Review

Athens, 15 October 2010

The FTSE/ATHEX Indices Advisory Committee meet today and approve the following changes in the composition of the FTSE/ATHEX Index Series:

  • FTSE/ATHEX 20

    • There are no additions and no deletions, one (1) investability weight change to existing constituent. The index constituents will remain twenty (20).
  • FTSE/ATHEX Mid 40

    • A total of two (2) additions, nine (9) deletions and no investability weight changes to existing constituents. The constituents of the Index are reduced by seven (7), to thirty three (23) constituents.
  • FTSE/ATHEX Liquid Mid

    • A total of five (5) additions, five (5) deletions and no investability weight changes to existing constituents. The index constituents will remain twenty (20).
  • FTSE/ATHEX-CSE Banking Index

    • There are no additions, a total of one (1) deletion and no investability weight changes to existing constituents. The constituents of the Index are reduced by seven (1), to ten (10) constituents.
  • FTSE/ATHEX International

    • A total of two (2) additions, nine (9) deletions and one (1) investability weight change to existing constituent. The constituents of the Index are reduced by seven (7), to forty four (42) constituents.
  • FTSE/ATHEX SmallCap 80

    • A total of fifteen (15) additions, twenty two (22) deletions and two (2) investability weight changes to existing constituents. The constituents of the Index are reduced by seven (7), to seventy three (73) constituents.
  • FTSE/ATHEX 140

    • A total of ten (10) additions, twenty four (24) deletions and three (3) investability weight changes to existing constituents. The constituents of the Index are reduced by fourteen (14), to one hundred and sixteen (116) constituents.
  • FTSE/ATHEX Sector Indices

    • All changes in the composition of FTSE/ATHEX 140 Index will be applied in the composition of the relevant FTSE/ATHEX Sector Index.

All changes are effective from Monday November 29, 2010.

From the same date, the new names of the FTSE/ATHEX Indices having a fixed number of constituents included in their names will be also effective.

  • "FTSE/ATHEX Mid 40" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Mid Cap Index"
  • "FTSE/ATHEX SmallCap 80" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Small Cap Index"
  • "FTSE/ATHEX 140" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Market Index"
