H1 2004 consolidated financial results
Significantly improved are the consolidated Info-Quest's H1 2004 financial results. Consolidated revenues reached euros 233m vs. euros 212m, increased by 10% compared to H1 2003. EBITDA reached euros 9,4m vs. euros 5,2m in H1 2003, increased by 80% and consolidated results before taxes and after minority rights was euros - 2,5m vs. euros - 6,1m in H1 2003.
As it has already been announced by the company, the main reason for the consolidated losses is the significant cost of the reorganization of its franchisees' network undertaken by ACS (the courier services market leader which is a subsidiary of Info-Quest) during Q1 2004. The financial results of ACS have been improved and it is expected that ACS will return to profitability by 2005. Parent company Info-Quest has shown significant growth in all fronts in H1 2004, according to its financial statements published on August 3, 2004. The turnover reached euros 184m, with EBITDA of euros 11.6 m, while Profits before Taxes reached euros 1.3 m.
