HELEX ASYK MERGER

1 March 2005 - The Board of Directors of Hellenic Exchanges Holding S.A. (HELEX), approved yesterday the merger by acquisition of the subsidiary company "Systems Development & Support House of the Capital Market S.A." (ASYK SA), in which HELEX is the exclusive shareholder, given that, the deadline provided by the law (article 70 of Codified Law 2190/1920) from the time the relevant Merger Agreement Draft was published in a daily financial newspaper expired. It is noted that by the time of the aforesaid publication and up to today, no creditor of the merged companies raised any objections.
