HELEX OWN SHARES

Following the buy back of our shares, according to article 16 of Law 2190/1920 and to the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of September 12th 2001, our company owns, as of 7/6/2002, 3,560,390 shares with voting rights, out of a total of 71,088,173 (5.00841%).

The percentage in HELEX's holding in the company changed from 4.98605% (3,544,490 shares) to 5.00841% (3,560,390) during the session on June 7th 2002 following the purchase of 15,900 shares.

It is noted that our company has voting rights that derive from these shares, but it cannot exercise them during General Meetings.
