HELLENIC DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A. presented its prospects in the Association of Greek Institutional Investors

Following the recent publication of the financial results for 2005 and in compliance with its Investor Relations strategy HELLENIC DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A. presented its prospects in the Association of Greek Institutional Investors (AGII). The Company was represented by Mr. George Velentzas - General Director, Mr. Haris Lambropoulos - Deputy General Director and Mr. Theodore Gitzos - Investor Relations Director. The presentation focused on the financial results of 2005 as well as the prospects of the current fiscal year. More specifically, consolidated sales for 2005 increased by 11.3% reaching Euro 261.5 million compared to Euro 234.8 million for 2004 while consolidated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached Euro 58.0 million. Consolidated earnings before tax, reached Euro 56.4 million while consolidated earnings after tax reached Euro 37.9 million. Regarding the prospects for 2006, consolidated sales are expected to reach Euro 290 - 300 million, an increase of 11 - 15%, consolidated EBITDA is expected to reach Euro 64 - 65 million, an increase of 10 - 12% and net income (after taxes) is expected to reach Euro 44 - 45 million, an increase of 16 - 19%.
