According to the company's provisional data, the turnover and pre-tax profits on a corporate and consolidated level are increased compared to the respective period in 2002. More specifically, the turnover for BETANET is expected to outreach 10.30 million euros, against 8.60 million euros in the respective period during 2002, increased by approximately 20%. The consolidated turnover is expected to reach 16.20 million euros approximately, against 14.10 million euros, presenting an increase of 15%.

Likewise, the pre-tax profits for BETANET and the group will increase by 16%, reaching 2 million euros and 3 million euros respectively, against 1.7 million euros and 2.6 million euros in the same period last year.

Emphasizing on the development of the industrial projects market sector, BETANET completed successfully the production of prefabricated concrete elements for the construction of six (6) industrial units of a total covered area of 35.000m2 in record time of only 4 months (June-September 2003). At the same time the company implemented various other projects (school buildings, houses, concrete poles for the Public Power Organization, etc).

Following the implementation of the projects stated above, the company's backlog of signed contracts overcomes 40 million euros. It should be noted that the construction of the new indoors athletics Hall of 'Arsakion School' at Salonica of 1.3 million euros budget and estimated time of completion the Spring of 2004, is also included in the previously mentioned backlog. In line with the strategic target of constant and sustainable growth, BETANET is planning the implementation of new 3 million euros worth of investments for the year 2004. The necessary funds will be raised through the issue of a common bond loan pending approval from the Shareholders General Extraordinary Meeting, which will be held at the 30th of October 2003.

Finally, it should be noted that BETANET participates in the International Exhibition 'TEHNOMA 2003', which is held at Scopia (22-26 October 2003), following the company's activity in the greater Balkan area, which is included in the general international planning of its activities.
