Increased turnover and pre-tax profits for the first nine months of 2004 Infrastructure improvements New projects

1.According to the company s provisional data, the turnover and pre-tax profits on a corporate and consolidated level have been increased compared to the respective period in 2003. More specifically, the turnover for BETANET is expected to outreach euros 11,20 million against euros 10,28 million in the respective period of 2003, increased approximately by 8,9%, while the consolidated turnover is expected to reach euros 18,50 million against euros 16,12 million, presenting an increase of 14,7% approximately.

Likewise, the pre-tax profits for BETANET are expected to increase by 14% reaching the amount of euros 2,4 million against euros 2,1 million in the same period last year. The estimation for the consolidated pre-tax profits is euros 3,4 million against euros 3,1 million in 2003 with an expected increase of 10% approximately.

2. Recently, BETANET signed a contract agreement with Technical Projects TSAMPRAS S.A. for the production, transportation and assembly of 101 room units, 45m2 each, for the KYRVIA PALACE hotel complex in Xersonisos Creta. The time for project completion will be (4) months with a budget of euros 900.000 approximately.

3. In the framework of the continuous improvements of company s products, procedures and services, the 100% subsidiary technical company EKAT-ETAN, which holds a 6th class contractors license, also obtained from the BVQI organization the ISO 9001/2000 quality certificate.

4. Moreover, the new office building of BETANET in the Schimatari plant, which includes a fully equipped presentation hall with a capacity for an audience of 60 people was completed and is already in use.

In addition, regional infrastructures were completed, while there have been considerable upgrades to the existing IT networks. It is noted that all referred investments are part of the company?s investment program for 2004, which is expected to outreach the euros 1,5 million for the fiscal year 2004.
