INTRACOM has already delivered the first phase of the Interconnect Billing System project for OTE, which addresses OTE's interconnect agreements with local Operators and will be concluding, by November 2003, the implementation of the second phase pertaining to OTE's interconnect agreements with international Carriers.

INTRACOM was awarded the project, which amounts to 1.1 million Euro, following allocation, via a web auction, to the lowest bidder. Within the framework of the project, ΙNTRACOM will provide OTE with the required software, as well as implementation training and support services.

Through this system, which is based on INTEC Telecom Systems' (UK) accredited Interconnect solution, OTE will be able to effectively manage its interconnect agreements with Telecommunications Operators in Greece and abroad. Furthermore, the new system will enable OTE to promptly dispatch transactions and directly invoice partner operators, thus significantly improving its cash flow.

Similar Interconnect Billing systems, based on INTEC Telecom Systems' platform, have already been successfully operating in Europe's largest Telecommunications Operators, such as France Telecom and Orange (France), Telecom Italia (Italy), Vodafone (UK), Matav (Hungary), Cesky Telecom and T-Mobile (The Czech Republic), Connect (Austria), to name a few.
