INTRACOM IT SERVICES has singed a contract, worth Euro 2 mil approximately, with Information Society SA, designated for the Ministry of Interior, Public Administation and Decentralization. The contract has a duration of 22 months and concerns the implementation of "Raptarchis" - a project of procedures automation for management, filing and Legislation circulation to the public.
The aim of the project is to conduct a study and develop a system that will automate the procedure of Legislation management, specifically regarding the Legislation filing and circulation to the public (through a subscription service), as well as the evaluation procedure for legislative regulations.
This project will enable the Ministry to provide upgraded services to the citizens, as well as to give immediate electronic access to the Perpetual Legislation Code (PLC) to the public. Consequently, the Ministry will adjust the internal operation of the service that manages and processes the PLC, in order to keep up with the new needs and upgraded services for the citizens, companies and public institutions. At the same time, the Ministry will codify the Legislation based on the international standards, within the framework of Greece''s obligations as an EU member, and will create the necessary mechanism for the procedures automation for the evaluation of legislative regulations through e-Democracy infrastructures.
Through the "Raptarchis project", INTRACOM IT Services further develops its know-how in legal data-bases management (the company has developed NOMOS legal service), as well as strengthens its participation in projects aiming to Public Administration modernization and to provision of value-added services to the citizens.
