INTRACOM S.A. announced today that it undertook a project concerning the supply of Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAMs) to the company "DIGITEL", the alternative telecommunications provider in Philippines, which operates in the provision of voice-mail, data & Internet Services. The implementation of the said project, which has an initial budget of $4 million has already started -via the first partial order amounting $700,000- and includes the supply of broad band systems (FASTmux 2000 and IBAS) as well as the relevant BBMS management system. Through these systems, DIGITEL would offer xDSL services in the greater area of Manila, enhancing thus significantly its position in the key sector of fast delivered data to businesses and end-users. The said project also enhances the presence of INTRACOM in Philippines.
