Athens - December 2, 2005 - INTRACOM signed a contract, worth 4.4 million USD, with MTC (Mobile Telecommunications Company) for the supply of a "Signaling Monitoring System for SS7, as well as GPRS and Abis Networks".

MTC Kuwait, a member of MTC Group, is currently the largest operator in Kuwait and one of the largest mobile operators in Middle East.

Within the framework of the agreement, apart from hardware and software provision, INTRACOM will also provide associated professional services including installation, configuration, training, support and maintenance. The project will be implemented in five phases and the implementation period will be nine months.

INTRACOM's solution is based on acceSS7 System developed by Agilent Technologies. This solution will enable MTC to have prompt and efficient supervision of its SS7, GPRS and Abis Signalling Networks, and retrieve valuable information for the rendered services in order to secure a high quality of service level offered to their customers.
