INTRASOFT International S.A. has successfully completed the implementation of mySAP.com business applications solutions (©SAP AG), in INTRACOM Constructions S.A. INTRACOM Constructions S.A, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 2001, covers successfully a wide range of services providing feasibility studies, project design, licensing, implementation, installation, and supervision of large-scale telecom, energy, industrial, construction and electromechanical projects, with an annual turn-over exceeding 50 million euros, and maintains a significant presence both in Greece and the wider Balkan region.

The project was completed in less than 12 months and comprised the implementation of the following mySAP.com modules: Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, External Services Management, Project Management & Costing. Furthermore, in the framework of this project, INTRASOFT International S.A implemented for the first time in a Greek SAP project, SAP?s Industry Solution for the Constructions Industry (SAP Engineering, Constructions & Operations), thus ensuring the effective coverage of the sector complex requirements regarding Contracts and Subcontractors Management. Additionally, the implementation covered recent Greek legal requirements for stock management per project site, as well as Stock Exchange reporting requirements.

Given the highly competitive nature of the Constructions Industry, as well as the ever increasing complexity of the infrastructure projects, INTRACOM Constructions S.A. decided to adopt SAP as its enterprise applications platform, aiming at an effective reengineering of its processes, the establishment of effective project and cost controlling mechanisms, as well as a more efficient customer/ partner relations management.

Following the successful transition to productive operation, in January 2004, INTRASOFT International was additionally assigned the setup and operation of a Helpdesk function, at the customer?s premises, to provide support to its 80 SAP users. Future project phases will address additional reporting requirements, as well as the coverage of the compliance with the International Accounting Standards (IAS).
