A meeting on issues concerning the regulatory framework for the listing of Ocean Going Shipping companies took place on 26.03.2001 in the ASE. The meeting was held between the Athens Stock Exchange Administration, with the participation of executives from the company listing sector, the legal department of the ASE and the representatives of underwriting companies, the Greek Ship Owners Association, the Chamber of Shipping and experts, with the objective to discuss issues connected with the regulatory framework of ocean going ships.

As it is known, the law for the listing of the above companies on the ASE has been voted and the designation of the detailed regulatory framework and approval from the ASE and CMC Boards of Directors is pending. The meeting was constructive for both sides and opinions concerning the particularization - clarification of points of the regulatory framework were exchanged.
