The Bank of Cyprus Group announces that as of 1st September 2007 Mr Antonis Jacouris, Group General Manager Information and Operations, assumes the position of Group General Manager Bank of Cyprus Greece in place of the departing General Manager Mr Costantinos Vassilakopoulos.
Mr Jacouris was born in Cyprus in 1947. He graduated from City of London Polytechnic and in 1973 he obtained the professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (FCA). During the period 1973-1980 he worked with the international audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Greece and in other European countries.
He joined Bank of Cyprus in 1980. During his career he served, among other key positions, as Group General Manager Credit Risk and he was also the project manager for the establishment and operation of the Bank's first branches in Greece.
The Bank of Cyprus Group expresses its thanks to Mr Vassilakopoulos for his valuable contribution during the six years of his service with the Bank.
