Mr. Roumeliotis will be joining the Board of Directors of Piraeus Bank SA as non-executive Vice Chairman from January 1st, 2012.

Mr. Roumeliotis will also sign on as Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Board and Member of the Strategic Planning Committee; at the same time, in his capacity as Financial Advisor to Management, he will oversee the Group's international financial relations.

As a Professor of Economics Mr. Roumeliotis has taught in several Greek and International Universities; he has held public positions as Minister of Trade, Minister of Finance and Member of the European Parliament, while he has represented Greece in numerous international organizations, including his latest tenure at the International Monetary Fund, a post he will leave at the end of the year.
