INTRACOM has achieved a great success through the production, promotion and sales of the ISDN Network Terminating Unit netMod. netMod is promoted and sold in Greece and the rest of the world and has already reached a sales volume of euros 126M. INTRACOM, pioneer in the development, design and production of ISDN Network Terminating Units, has extended its customer base to 33 countries worldwide after the recent contracts with Telecom Operators in Bosnia, Malta, FYROM, Lithuania and Kosovo.

netMod, the most advanced product of INTRACOM's ISDN Terminal Equipment products series, offers an integrated solution to SOHO and home users providing two telephone channels for voice and data or video transfer through a single ISDN line of 128 kbps, while supporting R-S232, USB, S-bus, and POTS connectivity to the user's PC. In the Greek market, netMod has promoted Internet's penetration and wide distribution of all Internet related services and applications.

INTRACOM's ISDN Network Terminating Units have quickly gained an international reputation and conquered European markets such as Finland, Hungary and Cyprus, while soon expanded to the Balkans (Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Albania, FYROM), to the rest of Europe (Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Austria, Malta, Armenia, Moldova), to Asia (United Arabic Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, Philippines, Palestine, Nepal, Maldives), to Latin America (Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica), to Africa (Morocco, Senegal) and Australia.

It is highly important to mention that the penetration in the above mentioned markets has been a result of international tenders, where INTRACOM has been proclaimed as the lowest bidder in spite of the strong competition from international companies.

INTRACOM's ISDN Network Terminating Units have been distinguished among others for their interoperability with all types of Digital Switches, their compatibility to all the widely known PC Operating Systems and for their adaptability to different operators' technical specifications. netMod sales continue to rise, as recent success stories in new markets and extensions to existing customers show.
