Bayan Telecommunications Inc. (BAYANTEL), one of Philippines? largest telecom organizations, awarded INTRACOM a new 2-million USD project following an international tender via allocation to the lowest bidder.

This project involves supply of narrow and large bandwidth broadband access systems (INTRACOM developed FASTmux 2000 and IBAS systems respectively), as well as supply of the related management system (BMS). By means of these systems BAYANTEL will be offering a complete range of broadband (xDSL) services in the area of Manila and other large cities of Philippines, thus establishing its leading position in data services provision in the country.
