PROFILE via its partnership with SunGard has been assigned by Eurobank EFG to implement a software solution concerning the new capital requirement directive for banking institutions (Basel II). Eurobank EFG selected SunGard's Basel II Capital Manager, the prime software choice of large banks for the calculation and management of regulatory and economic capital and the production of regulatory reports. The integrated solution covers all aspects of pillar 2 and 3 of the Basel II accord. SunGard's Basel II Capital Manager offers a complete solution for modelling and analysing Risk, which enables financial institutions to comply with the Basel II requirements. This is an important signing for PROFILE, as Eurobank EFG is the second largest Greek bank in terms of market capitalisation. EUROBANK EFG chose Basel II Capital Manager because of its wide international acceptance, and the support provided by PROFILE as SunGard's strategic partner in Greece and the S.E. Europe region.
