NEW INVESTOR RELATIONS OFFICER

14 April 2005 - In accordance with art. 4, par. 1e, of the Capital Markets Commission Decision 5/204/14.11.2000, Hellenic Exchanges S.A. announces that as of April 11^th 2005, Mr. Simos Spyrou is appointed head of Investor Relations and Shareholders' Department. In addition, Mr. Spyrou is the co-ordinator of the Strategic Planning & Investor Relations Department of Hellenic Exchanges Group.
