The European Central Bank (ECB) will release today new television footage on a meeting of the General Council. This material includes updated images of a meeting of the ECB's General Council, under the presidency of Mr. Jean-Claude Trichet, and with the participation of all Governors of the central banks of all the 25 EU Member States.

The footage material will be made available to TV stations via Europe by Satellite (EBS) on the 11:30 a.m. C.E.T. time slot and via European Broadcasting Union on the 11:45 a.m. C.E.T. time slot, on Thursday 17th June 2004.
