NEWSPHONE HELLAS GROUP OF COMPANIES S.A. has released the financial results for the nine months ended 30.09.2005, according to IFRS.

The consolidated turnover reached euro23.6 mn versus euro21.9 mn in the respective period last year, up by some 8%. Apart from the stable organic growth of existing business units, the turnover's increase is also attributed to the oparation of a new business unit (voice portals by subject).

The Group's gross profits rose by 27%, amounting euro10.1 mn versus euro8 mn on 30.09.2004, while the gross profit margin, as a % of consolidated sales stood at 42.8% versus 36.4% on 30.09.2004.

Administrative and distribution costs also rose during the 2005 nine month period, up by 24.8% to euro5.2 mn as opposed to euro4.2 mn in the same period a year ago.

EBITDA reached euro5.7 mn on 30/09/2005 versus euro4.4 mn on 30/09/2004, up by some 28.5%.

At the same time, earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) rose by 29.4% on 30.09.2005, reaching euro4.9 mn against euro3.8 mn on 30.09.2004.

Profits after tax and minority interests also went up on 30.09.2005 by 50.8% amounting euro3 mn versus euro2 mn on 30.09.2004. The substantial increase of the Group's net profits for the period in question is owed mainly to increasing taxes of the previous nine month period, which resulted from the completion of tax audits realized up to the fiscal year 2003.
