According to the decision No. 2/396/31.08.2006 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission's Board of Directors and in accordance with the Interim Financial Statements and the Data and Information for the periods 01/01 - 31/03/2007 and 01/01 - 30/06/2007 that were published on 08/05/2007 and 26/07/2007 respectively, the company NEOCHIMIKI L.V. LAVRENTIADIS S.A. discloses the following:
A) The published Data and Information of the periods 01/01 - 31/03/2007 and 01/01 - 30/06/2007 as follows:
In the Data and Information for the Period 01/01 - 31/03/2007 and 01/01 - 30/06/2007 and specifically in the comparative column of the Group's Income Statement concerning the period 01/01 till 31/03/2006, 01/01 till 30/06/2006 and 01/04 till 30/06/2006, the amounts regarding the discontinued operation of detergents (Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) were subtracted and are presented solely in one line named as Earnings after taxes from discontinued (sold) operations in order to present the continued operation, for the purpose of comparison.
Respectively, from the comparative column of the Cash Flow Statement regarding the period 01/01 till 31/03/2006, 01/01 till 30/06/2006 the amounts concerning the discontinued operation of detergents (Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) was subtracted, where the effect on the operational, investing and financing activities is presented in a sole line in each of the activities above, in order to present the continued operation, for the purpose of comparison.
Moreover, Note 12 has been added to the Additional Data and Information, which elaborates on the sales figures, the earnings before tax, financial result and depreciation (EBITDA) of the discontinued operations (Group LAMDA DETERRGENT S.A.) from period 01/01 till 31/03/2007, 01/01 till 30/06/2007 and 01/04 till 30/06/2007, as well as for the respective periods of 2006.
B) The Interim Financial Statements for the period from January 1st to June 30th , 2007 were reformed and re-approved by the BoD on July 31st , 2007, with a revised Audit Report of the Certified Auditors-accountants as at August 1st, 2007.
In specific, the reforms and readjustments are analyzed as follows:
1) At the comparative column of the Group's Income Statement for the period 01/01 till 30/06/2006 and 01/04 till 30/06/2006 the amounts regarding the discontinued operation of detergents (Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) were subtracted and are presented solely in one line named as Earnings after taxes from discontinued (sold) operations in order to present the continued operation, for the purpose of comparison.
2) Respectively, from the comparative column of the Cash Flow Statement regarding the period 01/01 till 30/06/2006 the amounts concerning the discontinued operation of detergents (Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) was subtracted, where the effect on the operational, investing and financing activities is presented in a sole line in each of the activities above, in order to present the continued operation, for the purpose of comparison.
3) Results of the discontinued operations are referred analytically at note 5 in the Interim Financial Statements. More specifically, at note 5: a) the comparative column for the results of the detergents' sector of the Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A. (discontinued operations) of the previous period from 01/01 till 30/06/2006 and 01/04 till 30/06/2006 was added and b) At note 5 the comparative column for the Cash Flow data of the detergents' sector of the Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A. (discontinued operations) of the previous period from 01/01 till 30/06/2006 was added.
4) At note 8, the comparative column for the taxes of the detergents' sector of the Group LAMDA DETERGENT S.A. (discontinued operations) of the previous period from 01/01 till 30/06/2006 was added.
Additionally, below we refer to the data of the Discontinued Operations in a consolidated basis:
Turnover for Q1 2006, 6M 2006 and Q2 2006 amounted to euro 22,362 th., euro 57,223 th. and euro 34,860 th. respectively, while for the period 01/01 till 15/02/2007 (sale date of LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) amounted to euro 26,737 th.
Earnings Before Tax (EBT) for Q1 2006, 6M 2006 and Q2 2006 amounted to euro 52,258 th., euro 55,749 th. and euro 3,492 th. respectively, while for the period 01/01 till 15/02/2007 (sale date of LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) amounted to euro 80,905 th.
Earnings After Tax (EAT) for Q1 2006, 6M 2006 and Q2 2006 amounted to euro 51,813 th., euro 54,871 th. and euro 3,058 th. respectively, while for the period 01/01 till 15/02/2007 (sale date of LAMDA DETERGERNT S.A.) amounted to euro 80,687 th.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation - Amortization (EBITDA) for Q1 2006, 6M 2006 and Q2 2006 amounted to euro 5,589 th., euro 11,458 th. and euro 5,869 th. respectively, while for the period 01/01 till 15/02/2007 (sale date of LAMDA DETERGENT S.A.) amounted to euro 3,954 th.
Following the above, earnings after taxes and continued operations in a consolidated basis for 6M 2006 and Q2 2006 amount to euro 4,166 th. and euro 2,582 th., over euro 14,142 th. and euro 9,199 th. of the respective periods of 2007.
The above amendments are analytically included in the Company's re-formed Interim Summary Financial Statements for the period from 01/01 till 30/06/2007 and to the Company's re-formed Data and Information for the periods from 01/01 till 31/03/2007 and 01/01 till 30/06/2007, which are posted on the Company's webpage at www.neochimiki-lavrentiadis.gr and on the webpage of ATHENS EXCHANGE at www.ase.gr .
