Aspis Bank, in order to ensure fuller disclosure to the investment community announces that the following additional information was inadvertently omitted from the published Condensed Financial Statements of 30/06/2007. This information relates to additional information and does not entail any amendment to any published financial accounts and information. Specifically:
1. The interim financial statements were authorized for issuance by Board of Directors on 1st August 2007.
2. NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
- Claims that have been made against the Bank and the Group are not expected to have any significant impact to its future results or operation (as disclosed in note 13.1 of the Financial Statements)
- The number of staff employed at 30/06/2006 was 944 for the Bank and 996 for the Group.
- The Group has issued on 3rd April 2007 through its subsidiary ASPIS JERSEY LTD a subordinated note of EUR 50,25 million and hybrid securities of EUR 40 million(details in notes 10 and 11 in the Financial Statements)
- Prior year taxes of EUR 5.588.000 were imposed by the tax authorities.(see details in note 7 in the financial statements)
