ABG announces that the Hellenic State (the Bank's principal shareholder) sold to institutional investors, on 12-5-2006 with an accelerated bookbuilding process, 65,000,000 shares, i.e. 7.18 % of the Bank's share capital. Following to the above transaction the Hellenic State holds 77.31% of the Bank's share capital.
