Notification about a significant change in the number of voting rights (Law 3556/2007 & Law 3606/2007)

6 October 2009 - Following the announcement on 28.09.2009 at the Athens Exchange website, concerning the change in voting rights of EFG EUROBANK ERGASIAS S.A. at the share capital of HELLENIC EXCHANGES S.A. HOLDING CLEARING SETTLEMENT & REGISTRY (HELEX), HELEX announces the following:

"The PRIVATE FINANCIAL HOLDINGS LIMITED Group registered in Brussels, which controls the following companies:

• EFG European Financial Group Limited registered in Cyprus
• European Financial Group EFG (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l registered in Luxemburg
• EFG Consolidated Holdings S.A. registered in Luxemburg
• GPS Growth Equities S.A. registered in Panama

informed the Company in writing on 29.09.2009 and announced that, after the abovementioned transaction, the PRIVATE FINANCIAL HOLDINGS LIMITED Group holds indirectly 3.1328% of the share capital of HELEX (from 5.05% before the transaction)."
