Notos Com Holdings announces it has reached an important agreement with PUBLIC WORLD, a company owned by Mr P. Germanos and Multirama, in relation to the development of the Hirs building in Thessaloniki. More specifically, an agreement was signed between the two Groups for sub-letting part of the ground floor and the whole of the basement, a total of 3,000 sq.m., of the HIRS building in Thessaloniki to PUBLIC WORLD. As already announced, the building belonging to the Israeli Community of Thessaloniki (ICT), has been leased to Notos Com for 29 years with the purpose of constructing a new 12,000 sq.m. department store. The new sub-lease agreement provides that PUBLIC WORLD will house one of its chain of civilization and culture stores which operate under the brand name "PUBLIC" and which sell products related to technology, music and books. According to the agreement, PUBLIC WORLD will undertake a proportional share of both the cost of construction and the annual lease payments that have been agreed with ICT. This important agreement will contribute further to the development of a modern department store providing an extensive choice of branded products that aims at becoming a destination point for consumers, not only for Thessaloniki but the greater Northern Greece market as well.
