ATHEX welcomed Attica Bank on the occasion of the listing of 2 270 026 033 new common registered shares as a result of a share capital increase.

The Chair of the Board, Mr  Ioannis Gamvrilis, and the CEO, Mr  Alexandros Antonopoulos, opened the session on Monday, 18 January 2016.

This successful share capital increase comes to conclude the recent bank recapitalization. These developments combined with the lifting of capital restrictions on Exchange transactions are an important step towards creating the conditions for maintaining investment interest in the Greek market.
