PC SYSTEMS increased its profits by 93% in Q1 2004
PC SYSTEMS' Q1 2004 performance is characterized with strong growth rates and significant increase in financial results.
More specifically, in Q1 2004 total turnover came at euro 9.9 mil. up 30% from euro 7.6 mil. last year's corresponding period. Also, the company posted a significant profitability increase for Q1 2004, as profits increased 93% from euro 58.4 thousand in Q1 2003 to euro 112.7 thousands in Q1 2004.PC SYSTEMS Group consolidated financial results for the Q1 2004 are also significantly improved. Consolidated turnover increased 19.8% from lasts year's corresponding period, while the Group?s consolidated profits increased by 35.22% over the same period.
Q1 2004 is highlighted from PC SYSTEMS strong presence in the most important IT projects implemented in Greece, both in the Private and the Public sector.
The company's participation in the Consortium for Olympic Information Technology Projects - KOEP (regarding the infrastructure of ATHENS 2004) and in SAIC Joint-Venture (regarding the Olympic Games security), as well as the implementation of projects in the Educational and Academic sector during the Q1 2004, are the main reasons for the increased financial results.
Besides the above mentioned projects, consistent with its corporate plan to develop strategic partnerships, the company was certified by Fujitsu-Siemens as a Corporate Reseller for Greece and expanded its cooperation with Microsoft. Under this cooperation agreement, PC SYSTEMS is a Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partner assuming the tasks for the promotion, distribution, development and implementation of Microsoft's business management software, Microsoft Business Solutions- Navision.
