PC SYSTEMS-Quality & Reliability Joint Venture, signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Aegean and Island Policy regarding the Development of E-Governance Information Technology System and Training of Users and Administrators that the joint venture undertook following the open bid by the Ministry of Aegean and Island Policy.

More analytically the Ministry?s project concerns the following:

1. Portal redesigning and Development regarding civilian and Interested Parties service provision
2. Applications design and development regarding the support of the entrepreneurial operations
3. Data migration to the new systems
4. Interconnection of the existing systems with the new ones
5. Training of users and administrators on the new systems

The project also includes:

the supply, installation and support Servers and Workstations information technology equipment, special applications and IVR systems, Document Management as well as network equipment regarding the interconnection of the Ministry's Central Services in Mytiline with 15 regional administration offices in Lymnos, Chios, Samos, Naxos, Siros, Kos, Rhodes, Milos, Kalimnos, Santorine through VPN.

The specific project, 520.000 Euro budget, is co financed by the European Union and the Greek Public Sector, has a realization horizon of 22 months and is of vital importance since it is included in the projects aiming at new applications development for the improvement of state services towards civilians and all parties involved.

PC SYSTEMS as well as Q&R constitute two basic business units of the Pouliadis Group in the area of Systems Integration and business software Application Development respectively.
