More specifically, the project relates to the supply and installation of Information Systems Equipment as well as Back up, maintenance and training services of Laboratories for students with vision impairments. The Special Service for the implementation of Community and Support Framework Programs, is particularly sensitive to people with special needs creates new and alternative education methods based on new technology so that these students are not socially excluded in the future.

The computer equipment as well as services included such as Back up, maintenance and training services will be implemented in determined training units of education throughout Greece and will be on line with EDUNET allowing students to acquire complete education.

It is worth noting that the major part of the project was performed with PLATO PCs of POULIADIS AND ASSOCIATES that include CISCO SYSTEMS's Network products, HEWLETT PACKARD peripherals as well as Braille special system equipment. The project is expected to be completed within five (5) months as of the date of the contract?s signature.
