The company OMEGA CLOSED-END FUND S.A., which is listed on the ATHEX (henceforth the "Company"), according to the notification of its shareholder, OMEGA BANK S.A., informs the investing public about the following:

On 21.07.2005, OMEGA BANK S.A.had pre-announced, according to Article 8 of Decision 5/204/14.11.2000 of the HCMC BoD that it intends to purchase 170,000 common registered shares of the company from 25.07.2005 until 29.07.2005. The aforesaid shareholder, i.e. OMEGA BANK S.A. finally purchased during the above-mentioned period 150,870 shares of the company, i.e. 1.6763% of its share capital.

Thus, with the completion of the aforementioned transaction, OMEGA BANK S.A. holds 29.31% in the share capital of the company , i.e. 24.40% (direct) and 4.91% (indirect).
