PRESENTATION OF THE GERMANOS GROUP OF COMPANIES TO THE INVESTMENT PUBLIC IN
NORTHERN GREECE

Athens, April 27th 2001. According to the Germanos Group of Companies Investment Relations program, the Board of Directors presented the company's perspective to their investment public of Northern Greece, on Wednesday April 25th at the premises of the "NorthernGreece AXE" company.The people presenting were: Mr. Panos Germanos, President of Germanos Group of Companies, Mr. Giannis Karagiannis, General Manager, Mr. Nikos Pappas, Financial Manager and Mr. Kostas Karafotakis, Investment Relations Manager.During the presentation, the Board of Directors analyzed the growth strategy of the Group, and among other things, mentioned the intension of Germanos to expand its Chain of Stores, numbering 700 stores until the end of 2002 in Greece, Poland, Rumania, Bulgaria and Cyprus, as well as in the wider area of the Balkans. Germanos have already acquired, recently, in Poland, the Polish Chain of stores EKO Contel aiming to operate 90 stores by the end of 2001, through the reorganization and further expansion of the stores in the Polish market. At the same time, the Group plans the international expansion of the Office 1 Superstore chain of stores, operating in the market of office equipment and stationery.In the area of (Autonomic) Energy, the Board analyzed the plans of the company concerning the production of more advanced products. At the same time, they presented the activities of the Group regarding investments in new premises and equipment, as well as the Department of Applied Research and Development located in the Sunlight production unit in Xanthi.In the area of Internet, the Group recently signed a master franchising agreement with easyEverything, the biggest chain of Internet cafe in the world, according to which the Group is exclusively responsible for opening easyEverything stores in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Rumania and Yugoslavia.According to its corporate vision, the Group's objective is to maintain its leading position and expand its business activities in Greece and abroad following the latest international progress and investing in all the areas in which it operates.
