For the information of investors, Piraeus Real Estate Investments S.A. announces that on 31.3.2006 it purchased a building of a total built-up surface of 975 m2, in Iraklion, Crete (62, 25th August & Koroneou str.) from the parent Piraeus Bank S.A., for the total price of Euro 1,600,000, with an annual return of 7.5% (Euro 120,000 annual rental). With such purchase, the company's investments in real estate amount to Euro 96.5 million. It is reminded that, according to the decision of the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting of 2.11.2005, the company intends to purchase on 31.5.2006 the remaining condominiums at COSMOPOLIS Mall in Komotini, for the price of Euro 3.2 million. With such purchase, the company will conclude its investments in real estate, an obligation which it had undertaken upon its listing in the Athens Stock Exchange in June 2005, and based on the relevant decision of the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting of 21.2.2006.
