J&P-AVAX SA announces its participation with a 25% stake in the project titled "Construction of Al Wakra Hospital for Hammad Medical Corporation", with a total budget of Euro 220 million, signed on April 18, 2007 between the Government of Qatar and Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Ltd.
The project involves the construction of a new six-storey hospital, with a total surface of 88,100 m2. Works include all buildings for support services (warehouses, laboratories, medical waste treatment unit, M&E, fresh water supply) with a surface of 15,300 m2 as well as a four-storey, 25,000 m2 car park, landscaping, road works, helipad, security check points, etc.
The contract is scheduled for completion in 910 days.
