Within the frame of the strategic establishment of the company AKTOR S.A. in the Middle East, the company has been declared as a bidder in Qatar in Joint Venture with the local company Al Darwish Engineering, the Italian company Cimolai and the Cypriot company Cybarco for the design - construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Hangar of the new airport of Doha, a project amounting to US$ 670 mil. The company AKTOR S.A. is the leader in the above Joint Venture. The project will be completed within two years beginning from the sign of the contract. Concessionaire of the project is the NDIA Steering Committee of Doha, while the American company Bechtel has undertaken the management of the projects of the New Airport in Doha on behalf of the state of Qatar.
