GEK TERNA Group:  New projects in Qatar and Bahrain

Two new projects with a total budget of 138 mil euro are added to the project portfolio of GEK TERNA Group in Qatar and Bahrain.

Specifically, TERNA S.A., a 100% subsidiary of GEK TERNA Group, undertook and is executing the following new projects:

1. Construction of a car park with a budget of 114 mil euro in Qatar.

Specifically a two-level underground car park with a total area of 100,000 m², with a surrounding area of 50,000 m² on the top and a Metro station of 10,000 m². The owner of the project, which is implemented in Doha and will be completed in September 2013, is Qatar Foundation.

     2.   Construction of a car park with a budget of 24 mil euro in Bahrain.

Specifically a ten-floor car park building with a total area of 52,000 m² and capacity of 1,400 cars. The project also includes the design of luxurious dining areas on the 10^th floor of the building. The owner of the project, which will be completed in October 2013, is Bahrain Financial Harbor Holding Company.

The two aforementioned projects have come to supplement a series of other projects undertaken by TERNA in the broader Middle Eastern region, increasing the backlog of projects undertaken and executed by the company in the Middle East to 330 mil euro. The overall backlog of GEK TERNA Group's projects amounts to 2 billion euro approximately.
