INTRALOT ACHIEVES 5 STARS DISTINCTION

INTRALOT received the “Recognised for Excellence (R4E) in Europe - 5 Stars” distinction from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) for its Systems Technical Division, rewarding its high-quality business approach, its ability to innovate and its commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Following a thorough and structured assessment by a team of EFQM Model Assessors, Systems Technical Division exhibited excellent performance in all model areas, covering the “enablers” criteria, namely leadership, strategy, people, partnerships & resources, processes, products & services; and the “results” criteria, namely people, customer, society and business results. The "Enabler" Model criteria cover what INTRALOT Systems Technical Division does and how it approaches business excellence, while the "Results" criteria cover the specific results achieved.

The 5-star distinction is the top level distinction of the EFQM model, which INTRALOT has now renewed after receiving it for the first time in 2011. It underlines INTRALOT's continued focus and commitment to Business Excellence, as a high performing organisation operating in an international highly competitive and constantly changing environment, which continuously improves, refines and simplifies the practices it adopts to achieve its goals in line with its strategy of offering innovative products and services to our customers worldwide, while ensuring sustainability.

Mr. Konstantinos Farris, INTRALOT Group's General Technical Director of Systems, during the award ceremony held on November 18th in Athens, stated: “Our constant focus on quality, our customer centric approach for delivering services and products, our constant drive for creating innovative products, and our extroversion are key characteristics of INTRALOT's culture, dynamically pursued by INTRALOT Management and recognized worldwide. The EFQM Business Excellence Model is a key enabler for the continuous improvement and excellence of our customer services, thus contributing significantly to our international expansion.”
