Press Release - INTRACOM Defense Electronics and Saab cooperation to support the Hellenic Army ARTHUR Systems

Koropi, 17 December, 2013 – In continuation of cooperation with the defense and security international company Saab, INTRACOM Defense Electronics (IDE) has signed an exclusive frame agreement for the support of the Hellenic Army ARTHUR weapon locating radar systems.

This agreement is to ensure continuous support for a crucial Hellenic Armed Forces high technology system, by providing smooth supply of spare parts and immediate on-the-field service by Greek engineers. It is important to highlight that IDE had undertaken co-production, integration and final testing of ARTHUR systems at its Koropi facilities in the context of the Hellenic Army procurement contract.

It is worth noting that the participation of IDE, as well as that of the domestic defense industry in general, in Hellenic Armed Forces support projects contributes to the establishment of the security of supply as well as cost reductions throughout the life cycle of vital weapon systems.
