Peania, December 3, 2014 - INTRASOFT International signed a 0.85 EUR million euro contract for the development and implementation of a Single Window System for the Customs Agency of the Republic Of Lithuania, highlighting INTRASOFT's International leading position as a worldwide expert and a market leader in the implementation, deployment and operational management of Customs systems. This project, which will run for 10 months, is the 5th Single Window / e-Trader system implemented by INTRASOFT International globally.

INTRASOFT International will use its INTRASOFT Single Window (ISW) product as the basis of the Lithuanian Single Window solution. ISW is fundamentally a trade facilitation system which introduces tremendous time and cost savings by catering for a single point of contact to multiple government agencies and departments that are usually involved in the cross-border clearance and moving of cargoes. The Single Window System will be operated by the Customs Department of the Government of Lithuania and will link the following agencies: the State Food and Veterinary Service, the National Paying Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture and the State Enterprise Centre of Registers, with provision of increasing them in the future.
