Luxembourg, April 22, 2015 – INTRASOFT International signed a contract with Centenary Rural Development Bank Limited, based in Kampala, Uganda, for the supply, installation and maintenance of PROFITS^®, INTRASOFT International's Core Banking Solution. The project, which will run for 6.5 years (18 months implementation and 5 year maintenance), is of great importance to INTRASOFT International, supporting the company's strategic plan to enhance its presence in the African continent.

This project is the sixth project implemented by INTRASOFT International in the African continent and is added to the 30+ PROFITS^® system installations globally, demonstrating once more the company's strong know-how in the implementation of large banking projects.

The new Core Banking Solution of Centenary Bank is a complete and integrated solution that will fully meet the Bank's operational needs. In the heart of the solution lies the PROFITS^® Core Banking System, which is developed fully on state-of-the-art technology by INTRASOFT International and utilizes business rules-based architecture and modularity to fully adapt to the specific needs of any financial institution, ensuring rich business functionality and scalability.

The new Core Banking Solution will enable Centenary Bank to unify the front-to-back office environment for Headquarters, Branches, Dealers and electronic banking channels (Internet Banking, Mobile banking, etc) and to offer rich core banking and micro-financing functionality. It will ensure continuous real-time transaction processing on a 24x7 basis, automate the process of loans applications approval with advanced workflow capabilities and provide business growth opportunities through its Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Moreover, it will significantly reduce time to market for new products and services and easily adapt to new legal and regulatory rules and directives.
