In conformity with Presidential Decree 350/85, Alpha Bank announces that Mr. Yannis S. Costopoulos, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank, informed the Bank on 09/08/2004 that he purchased 85,000 (eighty five thousand) shares of Alpha Bank, of a total value of Euro 1,559,637,60 (one million five hundred fifty nine thousand six hundred thirty seven euros and sixty cents) through Alpha Finance AXEPEY during the session of 06/08/2004.
