DIOLKOS CLOSED-END FUND S.A. announced today that according to the relevant decisions of its Ordinary Shareholders? General Meeting and BoD on 23.06.2005 and 12.07.2005 respectively, it carried out the following purchases of its own shares:

- On 24.10.2005, the total number of 270 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 270*EUR 2.10. The total value of the said transaction amounted to EUR 567.00.

- On 25.10.2005, 500 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 10*EUR 2.11 per share and 490*EUR 2.15, total value of transaction: EUR 1.074.60.

- On 26.10.2005, 160 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 160*EUR 2.13 , total value of transaction: EUR 340.80.

- On 27.10.2005, 260 shares were bought via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 260*EUR 2.13 per share, total value of transaction: EUR 553.80.
