In compliance to the No. 2273/2003 Regulation of the E.C. Committee dated December 22nd, 2003 Proton announces purchases of own shares as listed below, which were accomplished in accordance to article 16 par. 5 of L.2170/1920, in implementation of Annual Shareholders' Meeting decision of November 24th, 2006 and the Board of Directors' decision of May 8th, 2007.
(1) On August 8th, 2007 a total of 7,105 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.173 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 72,276.74.
(2) On August 9th, 2007 a total of 4,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.116 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 40,464.26.
(3) On August 10th, 2007 a total of 10,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.950 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 99,499.66.
(4) On August 13th, 2007 a total of 10,765 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.854 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 106,082.43.
(5) On August 14th, 2007 a total of 13,689 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.856 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 134,913.32.
The abovementioned 45,559 own shares, of total value Euro 453,236.41 were purchased through Proton Bank S.A. at an average purchase price of Euro 9.948 per share.
