In compliance to the No. 2273/2003 Regulation of the E.C. Committee dated December 22nd, 2003 Proton announces purchases of own shares as listed below, which were accomplished in accordance to article 16 par. 5 of L.2170/1920, in implementation of Annual Shareholders' Meeting decision of November 24th, 2006 and the Board of Directors' decision of May 8th, 2007.
(1) On August 16th, 2007 a total of 8,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.760 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 78,076.82.
(2) On August 17th, 2007 a total of 4,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.786 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 39,143.47.
(3) On August 20th, 2007 a total of 6,852 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.006 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 68,561.11.
(4) On August 21st, 2007 a total of 4,248 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.013 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 42,535.51.
(5) On August 22nd, 2007 a total of 3,015 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.993 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 30,127.47.
The abovementioned 26,115 own shares, of total value Euro 258,444.38 were purchased through Proton Bank S.A. at an average purchase price of Euro 9.896 per share.
