ΑΤΕbank announces that, in accordance with the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 29.04.2011 and following the approval of Bank of Greece's Credit and Insurance Committee on 10.5.2011, it proceeded today with the repurchase of the total number of preference shares (937,500,000), held by the Greek State under Law 3723/2008, for a total amount of € 675 million.
