In response to the letter 4179/2-10-2006 of the Hellenic Capital Market Committee, regarding an article published in the financial press, the Company informs you the following:
The Board of Directors of PPA.S.A , during the meeting of 28/09/2006 decided:
a) The proclamation of international competition for the concession of the use of a land area in the port - zone for the development, operation and exploitation of an international Exhibition, Conference and Business Center. The land under concession covers about 75.000 m2 in the Palataki area and the period of concession is 25 years with an option for a 5-year extension after a mutual agreement of the contracting parties.
b) The terms of the relevant proclamation for the submission of binding offers from interested investors and the choice of the final bidder. Furthermore the minimum guaranteed rent, which will amount to Euro 2,5 million (in 2006 prices).
For any further development on the subject the Company will immediately inform the investor''s community.
