In response to the letter of Hellenic Capital Markets Commission as of February 9, 2007, (reg. No. 578) regarding a publication on the website ''capital'' titled ''ELTEB: Deal on waste disposal management in Cyprus'', we announce the confirmation of the contents of the said publication. The company considered advisable not to proceed to a sporadic announcement, but to inform on the total of recent business ventures of its subsidiary company ''HELECTOR S.A.''.
Recently, the company ''HELECTOR S.A.'' signed the following contracts:
1. ''PROJECT, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF PROCESS AND WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITIES IN THE LARNAKA-AMMOCHOSTOS DISTRICTS''. Contract amount: euro 135,000,000. Participants:HELECTOR S.A. (45%), ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB S.A. (20%), -CYBARCO (35%).
2. ''LEASING OF SERVICES FOR THE OPERATION OF THE HOSPITAL WASTES CREMATOR''. Contract amount: euro 64,000,000. Participants: HELECTOR S.A. (60%), PANTECHNIKI S.A. (20%), ARSI S.A. (20%).
3. ''CONSTRUCTION OF THE URBAN WASTES MANAGEMENT PLANT USING MECHANICAL BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY in Trier, Germany. Contract amount: euro 6,025,000. Participant: HERHOF GmbH (100% subsidiary company of HELECTOR S.A.).
Furthermore the signing of the following contract is being awaited shortly: ''CONSTRUCTION OF A HYGIENIC WASTE BURIAL SITE IN THE N.E. PART OF ATTICA IN MAVRO VOUNO GRAMMATIKOY AREA''. Contract amount: euro 16,000,000.
