Semi-Annual Review of the Composition of the FTSE/Med 100 Index

The periodic semi-annual meeting of the Special Advisory Committee of the Common Regional FTSE/Med 100 Index was held today Monday, May 16 2011.

The FTSE Med 100 Index, which was put into force on 19.06.2003, is comprised of 100 stocks that are listed on the Tel Aviv, Athens, and Cyprus Stock Exchanges, some of which are also listed in Stock Exchanges of the United States or Europe.

At this meeting the Committee, which is comprised of executives from Athens, Tel Aviv, Cyprus Stock Exchange as well as a representative of FTSE Group, carried out a detailed review on the index's performance for the half-year period from October 2010 until March 2011, according to the Ground Rules of Operation of the said Index.

During the current review of the index, and according to the Ground Rules, there was 1 addition, 0 deletions and 1 investability weight change of index constituents.

According to the new composition of the Index, there are 32 constituents from the Athens Exchange, 56 from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and 12 from the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
