The Athens Stock Exchange, following its Stock Markets Steering Committee session of 1/8/2023, approved the amendments of the ATHEX Exchange Rulebook and the related ATHEX Resolution 22, concerning the creation of a new Pre-Agreed Trade type (block trade) without a credit limit consumption requirement.

In particular:

  • The provisions of the Rulebook are updated with regard to a new pre-agreed trade type of Method 6-1. Simple block trade, which will be same day settled and canceled in case of no settlement according to the ATHEXClear schedule, as further specified in ATHEX Resolution 22.
  • The provisions of the ATHEX Resolution 22 which are related to the new above mentioned pre-agreed trade type are updated to reflect that their trading time will be between 10:30 to 16:00 and if their settlement does not take place, according to the ATHEXClear schedule, then these trades are canceled in the trading system between 17:05:01 and till the end of the respective seurity's trading time. There is no daily price fluctuation limits for this pre-agreed trade type.

        All other provisions related to pre-agreed trading of Method 6-1 remain in force.

The above changes will be effective from the trading of 11th of September 2023.
