Stock Markets Steering Committee of Hellenic Exchanges - Athens Stock Exchange

 

The Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX), following today's session of its Stock Markets Steering Committee, approved the amendment of ATHEX BoD Resolutions 21 & 24, regarding the introduction of the new Service ATHEX FIX Trading, the description of this new service at a technical and network level, as well as the determination of the related pricing policy, provided by ATHEX.
 
Pricing Policy of ATHEX FIX TRADING
 
The pricing policy of ATHEX FIX Trading is as follows:
  • For each Trading Session €2.400 / year
  • For each Drop Copy Session €1.200 / year
It should be noted that:
  • Members of the ATHEX Cash Market who are also members of the Derivatives Market will be entitled to one (1) Trading Session free of charge.
  • Members that are active as Market Makers in the Cash Market, or in the Derivatives Market, or in both aforementioned markets, will be entitled to one (1) Trading Session free of charge.
Therefore, Members who are simultaneously Trading Members in the Derivatives Market or have the capacity of Market Makers either in Cash or Derivatives or both Markets, are entitled up to two (2) Trading Sessions free of charge.
 
Finally, for the Member's connection via internet, the implementation of each IPSec VPN tunnel for both test environment (UAT) and production environment (Production) will have a fixed monthly connection fee of €275 and a fixed implementation fee (one-off fee) as determined today in ATHEX BoD Resolution 24.
 
Pricing Policy for the calendar year 2023
 
Taking into consideration the transition costs for its Members, ATHEX has decided to provide free of charge to all its Trading Members the following for the calendar year 2023: 
  • one (1) Τrading Session &
  • one (1) Drop Copy Session 
 
Therefore, for the calendar year 2023, all Trading Members will have one (1) free of charge Trading Session and one (1) Drop Copy Session, on top of the additional free Trading Session that Trading Members in Derivatives Market are entitled to, and of the additional free Trading Session that Market Makers are entitled to.
 
The aforementioned changes at the ATHEX BoD Resolutions 21 & 24 will come into effect on Monday 20 February 2023. The same date is also the date ATHEX FIX Trading service will be activated at the Production System of OASIS.
 
Moreover, with the aim to develop the ATHEX Securities Lending Market, the Stock Markets Steering Committee of ATHEX approved the new functionality "Lending Intention Standing Order", which is reflected in the amended Resolution 17. The implementation date of this new functionality will be Monday 20 February 2023.
